How We Do Business

Buying jewelry at Gillespie Jewelers is simple. 
To make life easier for our clients and ourselves, we follow straightforward guidelines. 

1.  Payment - We accept payment in cash, personal or cashier checks, all major credit cards, money orders and wire transfers.    Escrow accounts may be set up for larger purchases. 

2.  Shipping - We work with a number of companies (USPS-Registered Mail, UPS, Federal Express & Local couriers) 
The cost of shipping & insurance is added to the purchase price.

3.  Returns/Exchanges - Items returned within 30 days will be given 100% store credit.  After 30 days, store credit will be based on the condition of the merchandise.

4.  Sales Tax - Texas residents pay 8.25% sales tax

5.  Availability - Many of the items displayed in our galleries are unique, one-of-a-kind pieces and often subject to prior sale.

6.  Privacy - Our policy with regard to your privacy is very simple.  We never have & never will share client information with third parties.  Your trust and confidence is critical to our business.

Special Information on Custom Design Orders

Gillespie Jewelers requires a down-payment to begin custom designs, with final payment due prior to delivery or shipping. Please read: Why Gillespie Jewelers, for additional comfort about payment in advance.

No refunds on Custom Jewelry

Custom jewelry has limited appeal beyond the tastes of the customer for whom it was originally designed. As such, Gillespie Jewelers cannot accept returns of custom items. However, it is very important to us that our customers are satisfied with our work. We work very attentively with each customer through the design process using detailed descriptions, drawings and pictures. We involve the customer in each phase of production (see Custom Process). Our primary goal for each transaction is a satisfied customer.
