The Art of Custom Design
  Kim Gillespie works by appointment with each individual to define the piece the client has in mind. This involves listening carefully to the client's desires and specifications while bringing forward important considerations about the visual beauty of the piece and the engineering necessary to achieve comfort and durability.
The result of this consultation are sketches prepared, usually with the client present. After designing on paper he then produces either a wax model of the item or directly fabricates from raw metals. Kim's method of sculpting is a process of building up rather than carving away excess material to relieve the design. The results are exquisite!
